Adelaide once again showed why it is known as the festival state, with a couple of fantastic festivals which proved to be great fun for all.
On Saturday afternoon we had the pleasure of taking the family down to the Croatian Festival Known as Festa at the Croatian sports complex. It was a great chance for the kids to get on some fun rides, including the jumpy castle, and also for the adults to try out some Croatian cuisine and a Croatian beer. Yum. The stuffed cabbages were fantastic.
On Sunday we headed down to the Semaphore street fair, which had a massive turn out of people, and was quite a lot bigger than we had first expected. Firstly we wandered through the many stalls there, and found a few great bargains. The kids got to decorate their own cup cakes at one stall, which they found to be great fun, and a biscuit at the girl guides stall. They loved it, and they also had a treat after they finished by munching their creation down. They followed it up with some fun rides on the semaphore entertainment area, which they always love a visit to. Semaphore sure is a great place to be. The weather didn’t hold up for us, but just being down at Semaphore gives us a taste of what the summer has in store for us. Loads of fun at Semaphore. Can’t wait.
